A highly respected member of her community, Somphors and her family generously provided the land on which The Sorn Foundation’s school now stands — a powerful symbol of their shared belief in opportunity for all.
In her dual role as teacher and project manager, Somphors shows exceptional commitment, guiding our students with care and overseeing the growth of our community projects with remarkable leadership and vision.
Her outstanding contribution to education and women’s empowerment was recognised when she received an award from the Young Women’s Leadership Network (YWLN) for her work with the Entrepreneur Women’s Empowerment Group in Rural Cambodia.
